Why MauriSign
Signatures you can prove, not just collect.
Most tools get a name onto a page. MauriSign gives you a document that stands up to scrutiny years later — because the maths, not the brand, is doing the vouching.
Legally recognised e-signatures
Electronic signatures are recognised under the Electronic Transactions Act 2000. MauriSign captures the consent, attribution and intent the Act calls for — with the evidence to back it up if a signature is ever challenged.
Tamper-evident audit trail
Every action — opened, viewed, signed — is written to a cryptographic hash chain. Change one entry after the fact and the whole chain reads as tampered.
Cryptographically sealed
At completion we build a canonical snapshot of the document and RSA-2048 sign it. Alter a total, a name or the ink afterwards and verification fails instantly.
Multi-party signing
Route a document to a business signer and one or more clients in the right order. Each party gets their own secure link — no accounts required to sign.
Invoices & quotes, bound in
Signing a quote or invoice? The amounts, VAT and totals are sealed into the signature itself, so the figures agreed can never quietly change.
Instant verification
Anyone holding a signed document can check it on MauriSign — rebuild the snapshot, re-check the signature and the chain, and see a clear verdict in seconds.
Read the contract before you sign it.
Every agreement gets a built-in AI assistant, powered by Claude. Summarise it, ask it questions, or run a clause-risk check — right next to the editor, without leaving the page.
Plain-language summary
Turn a dense contract into a few clear sentences — parties, term, money and obligations — before anyone signs.
Ask the document
Ask a question in plain English and get a grounded answer with the exact clause quoted back. No answer it can't find in the text.
Clause risk check
Flags risky wording and clauses that are missing entirely — an extra set of eyes before it goes out for signature.
AI can also detect signature & date fields on an uploaded PDF for you — you stay in control of every placement.
Guidance only, grounded in your document — not legal advice.

The product
Everything you need to sign, in one place.
Draft or upload, place fields, route to signers, seal and verify — all from a clean workspace built for how Mauritian businesses work.

One dashboard for every document
Track what's drafted, out for signature, completed and sealed — at a glance.

Start from a Mauritian template
Employment contracts under the Workers' Rights Act 2019, service agreements, NDAs, leases — ready to send.

Anyone can verify a signature
A public check re-runs the cryptography and audit chain, then shows a clear verdict — no login.
How it works
From draft to signed & sealed in four steps.
Upload your document
Drop in a PDF — a contract, offer letter, NDA or invoice. Drag the fields where each person needs to sign, initial or date.
Add your signers
Enter the parties and the order they sign in. Everyone gets a secure link by email — no MauriSign account needed to sign.
They sign in seconds
Signers type or draw their signature on any device. The moment the last person signs, the document is sealed automatically.
Everyone gets proof
All parties receive the completed PDF plus a certificate of completion and a verifiable audit trail. Verify it anytime.
Trust & compliance
Built to hold up in front of a judge, an auditor, or a sceptical counterparty.
Convenience is table stakes. What sets MauriSign apart is that a signed document carries its own proof — the cryptography travels with the file, independent of us.
RSA-2048 · SHA-256
Detached signature over a canonical snapshot
Electronic Transactions Act 2000
Electronic signatures are recognised in Mauritian law. MauriSign is built around the ETA-2000 requirements for consent, attribution and integrity.
ETA-2000 audit-log integrity
A tamper-evident hash chain over every event is exactly the audit-trail integrity control the Act calls for — and it's on by default.
Admissible evidence package
Each completed document ships with a certificate of completion, the sealed snapshot, and a full event history you can hand to a court or auditor.

Questions, answered.
Yes. The Electronic Transactions Act 2000 gives electronic signatures legal recognition for most everyday business documents — contracts, offers, NDAs, quotes and invoices. A handful of instruments (such as wills, powers of attorney and property conveyances) are excluded by law and still need ink. MauriSign is built around the Act's requirements for consent, attribution and record integrity. It isn't legal advice — check your specific document type if in doubt.
