A signature is only worth as much as your ability to prove nothing changed after it. Here's how MauriSign protects every document — and how anyone can check it independently.
Cryptographic sealing
Every completed document is sealed with an RSA-2048 digital signature computed over a fixed snapshot of the exact content. Change one character and the seal breaks — visibly.
Tamper-evident audit trail
Each event — viewed, verified, signed — is cryptographically chained to the one before it. History can't be quietly edited, deleted, or reordered without the chain breaking.
Identity checks
Signers confirm a one-time code sent to their email before signing, tying each signature to control of a specific inbox and recording it in the audit trail.
Independent verification
Anyone can confirm a document is genuine and untouched at maurisign.mu/verify — no account, no support call. Proof that doesn't depend on trusting us.
Offline signing keys
The private key that seals documents is kept offline, deliberately — it signs artefacts that may need to hold up for years, so it's guarded accordingly.
Tenant isolation
Every account's data is isolated at the database level with row-level security, so one customer's documents can never be reached from another's.
Legally recognised in Mauritius
MauriSign is built around the Electronic Transactions Act 2000, which gives electronic documents and signatures the same legal standing as paper. The security measures above are what turn "legally allowed" into "defensible in a dispute" — evidence a counterparty, lawyer or court can inspect for themselves.
