Getting started with MauriSign
MauriSign lets you send, sign and verify legally binding documents online — cryptographically sealed and tamper-evident under Mauritius' Electronic Transactions Act 2000.
This guide walks you through your first few minutes: signing up, understanding the dashboard, and saving the signature you'll reuse on every document.

- 1
Create your free account
Go to the sign-up page, enter your name, work email and a password, and you're in. Every new account starts on a 14-day Business trial — no card required.
MauriSign automatically creates a workspace for you. You can invite teammates later from Settings → Team.

The sign-up form — name, email and password is all it takes. Tip. Use your real work email — signers see it as the sender, and it's where signed-copy confirmations are delivered.
- 2
Get your bearings on the dashboard
After logging in you land on your dashboard. The left sidebar is your home base: Dashboard, Inbox (documents waiting on you), Agreements, Envelopes, Templates and Settings.
The dashboard summarises what needs attention — documents awaiting signature, recently completed work, and an onboarding checklist to guide your first send.

Set up your signature
Open Settings → Signature and adopt the signature you'll apply to documents. You can type your name in a signature font or draw it with your mouse or finger.
Saving it once means one-click signing later — you won't have to redraw it every time.

Settings → Signature: type or draw the signature you'll reuse. Tip. This is optional if you only ever send documents for others to sign — but it's required the first time you sign something yourself.
