Sign a document someone sent you

3 min read

You don't need a MauriSign account to sign a document someone sent you. You just need the email link and access to your inbox for the one-time code.

This is what the signing experience looks like from a signer's point of view.

  1. 1

    Open your secure link

The email from MauriSign contains a button to open your copy of the document. The link is unique to you and single-use.

Tip. Can't find the email? Check spam, and ask the sender to resend — they have a "Resend link" button.

  2. 2

    Enter your one-time code

For security, MauriSign emails you a 6-digit code. Enter it to confirm it's really you before the document opens. You can request a new code if it expires.

    Review and sign

Read the document, then add your signature — draw it, type it, or reuse a saved one — and confirm. If the document asks for a date or other fields, fill those in too.

Once you sign, the document is sealed and you receive a copy of the completed, signed version by email.
